A. Wallace Cato
A. Wallace Cato was a chief judge of the South Georgia Circuit of Georgia. His last term expired in 2016. Cato did not seek re-election that year.
Biography
Cato received his B.A. and his J.D. from the University of Georgia. He was admitted to the Georgia bar in 1963. Prior to his judgeship, Cato was a criminal defense attorney in Brisbane, Calif., and a legislative assistant to State Sen. Julian Webb (D).[1][2]

Cato ran unopposed for re-election to the South Georgia Superior Court.[3] He was re-elected after receiving 99.6 percent of the vote in the July 31 election.[4]
