Angela Fonnesbeck is a judge for the First District Juvenile Court in Box Elder, Cache, and Rich counties in Utah. She was appointed to the court by Governor Gary Herbert on October 20, 2014, to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Larry E. Jones. Her appointment was unanimously approved by the Utah State Senate on November 19, and she was sworn in on January 7, 2015. She is the first female judge of the First District Court. She will face a retention election in 2018.[1][2][3]

Fonnesbeck received her undergraduate degree from Whitman College and her J.D. degree from the Washington College of Law.[4]
