Ann Crowell is a judge on the New York Supreme Court 4th Judicial District. She has served in this position since January 1, 2012. She was elected to a 14 year term on November 8, 2011. Her current term expires on December 31, 2025.[1]

Crowell won election as a Supreme Court Justice on November 8th after winning the Republican and Conservative primaries. She earned 30.9 percent of the vote to defeat John Silvestri in the General election winning one of the three open seats.[2][3][1]

Education

Crowell earned her undergraduate degree at Mount Holyoke College in 1979 and her J.D. Cum Laude from Albany Law School in 1992.[4]

Professional career

Crowell has previous served in both the Rensselaer and Schenectady County District Attorney's Office. She has also served as Deputy Counsel for the New York State Division of Parole. She has been actively involved in private practice since her admission to the bar in 1992. She currently serves as a Confidential Law Clerk to Judge Stephen A. Ferradino.[4]
