Arthur Kohl-Riggs
Arthur Kohl-Riggs was a Republican candidate for Wisconsin Governor in the recall election against incumbent Gov. Scott Walker. While he ran as a Republican, Kohl-Riggs is actually a protest candidate and filed in order to ensure a Republican primary would be necessary.

Kohl-Riggs ran as a protest candidate for Wisconsin Governor in the recall election against incumbent Gov. Scott Walker. The two faced off in a Republican primary on May 8, 2012, with Walker winning easily.
Recall petitions were turned in on January 17, 2012 and certified on March 30. Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett, State Sen. Kathleen Vinehout, Dane County Executive Kathleen Falk, Secretary of State Douglas La Follette and protest candidate Gladys Huber all sought the Democratic nomination in the race. Hariprasad "Hari" Trivedi ran as an independent. The general election takes place on June 5.[1]
The state GOP announced in early April 2012 that they would be running "protest" candidates in all 2012 recalls in order to make sure they all fell on the same day.[2]
