This measure sought to renew the current street levy which is set at a rate of $.84 per $1,000 of assessed property value for a further ten years in order to continue to help pay for street and pedestrian projects in the city.[2]

The question on the ballot:

Shall Bandon impose $.8455 per $1,000 of assessed value for streets and pedestrian capital projects for 10 years beginning 2011-2012? This measure renews current local option taxes.[3]
