The question on the ballot:
Shall the school board of Bayless Consolidated School District be authorized to increase the operating tax levy for the purpose of restoring bus transportation, attracting and retaining highly qualified staff, maximizing allowable state funding, offsetting loss of state revenue and paying the general operating expenses of the district by $0.92 per one hundred dollars of assessed valuation? If this proposition is approved, the adjusted operating levy of the school district is estimated to be $4.22 per one hundred dollars of assessed valuation.[3] |
