A Bear Valley Unified School District parcel tax, Measure M ballot question was on the July 10, 2012 ballot for voters in the Bear Valley Unified School District in San Bernardino County, where it was defeated.[1]
If Measure M had been approved, it would have imposed a parcel tax of $49.50 per year. This would have been in effect for four years. It would have generated about $1.4 million each year, since there are about 40,000 parcels in the district.[2]
A two-thirds (66.67%) vote was required for approval.
If the Measure M tax had been approved, it would have been retroactive to July 1, 2012.[2]
