Ben H. Hadfield

Ben H. Hadfield was a judge of the First Judicial District in Box Elder County, Utah.[1] Hadfield was appointed the position by Gov. Michael O. Leavitt in March of 1993.[2] He was retained in 2008.[3][4] He retired on August 15, 2014.[5]
Education
Hadfield received his J.D. from the J. Reuben Clark College of Law at Brigham Young University in 1978.[2]
Career
Following graduation, Hadfield worked for the firm of Mann, Hadfield & Thorns. He also helped to found the Rex E. Lee Inn of Court to focus on professionalism and collegiality in the courtroom. Hadfield was appointed to the First District Court by Governor Michael O. Leavitt in March 1993. He served as presiding judge in the First District Court from 2004 to 2006.[2]
