Ben Kapelka was a candidate for District 4 representative on the Battle Ground Board of Directors in Washington. Kapelka ran for the seat in the primary election on August 4, 2015. The top two vote recipients advanced to the general election on November 3, 2015, but Kapelka placed third in the race.[1]

Nickles and Rylander advanced to the general election ballot, where Nickles won a new term.[2]
