Bill Evans is a former District 2 representative on the Beaufort County School Board in South Carolina. He won re-election unopposed in the general election on November 4, 2014. Evans resigned from the board in October 2015.[1]

The November 4, 2014, general election in Beaufort County School District featured seven seats up for election. Incumbents in Districts 2, 3, 5, 7, 8 and 10- Bill Evans, Michael Rivers, Geri Kinton, Evva Anderson, Mary Cordray and Bill Payne-won re-election unopposed. No candidate filed for the District 4 seat occupied by Jim Beckert. Joseph Dunkle won the District 4 seat as a write-in candidate.[2]

Funding

Candidates were required to file a quarterly finance report with the South Carolina State Ethics Commission for the November general election by October 10, 2014. This report covered the period of July 1, 2014, through September 30, 2014. Candidates were also required to file a pre-election report no later than 15 days prior to the election. A final report was due after the campaign had closed. Candidates for local school boards could not accept more than $1,000 from individuals and $5,000 from political parties.[3]
