The Birchwood School District Referendum was a school bond measure on the April 7 ballot in the Birchwood School District which is in Washburn County. The referendum was brought to the ballot by the school board, and it sought to exceed state-set revenue limits by $295,000 per year for two years, totaling $590,000 overall. The additional funds would be used to maintain current levels of operations and replace outdated equipment.

The Birchwood school district had a similar measure on the ballot in 2008 which was defeated. Read about it here: Birchwood Exceed Revenue Limits (2008).
