A Bishop Union Elementary School District bond proposition, Measure A ballot question was on the November 4, 2008 ballot for voters in the Bishop Unified School District in Inyo County, California, where it was approved.
Measure A authorized the school district to borrow $3 million. A local newspaper referred to Measure A as the $3 Million Solar Energy Project Bond because the funds were to be partially devoted to adding solar panels to school buildings.
A 55 percent supermajority vote was required for approval.
