Brian Cannell

Brian Cannell is a Utah First Judicial District judge. He was appointed by Governor Gary Herbert in October 2013.[1] His term will expire in 2017.
Education
Cannell received a B.A. in political science from Utah State University. He earned his J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center.[2]
Career
Prior to his judicial appointment, Cannell was an attorney at the law offices of Hillyard, Anderson and Olsen. He started there in 1996, and became a shareholder in 1999. He has also been an adjunct professor at Utah State University, teaching mass media law.[2]
