Brian Silverman
Brian Silverman was a Nebraska District Courts judge for District 12, Nebraska.[1] Silverman retired from the court on December 31, 2010, due to health issues.[2] On June 23, 2011 Travis O'Gorman was chosen to fill Silverman's position.
Public reprimand
Silverman was publicly reprimanded by the Nebraska Commission on Judicial Qualifications for his “an impatient, discourteous, angry and condescending tone and demeanor” toward a man involved in a child custody case. The judge admitted his wrongdoing and the commission decided that no further punishment was warranted.[3]
