Elections for the office of Oregon State Senate consisted of a primary election on May 18, 2004, and a general election on November 2, 2004.[1] Jeff Kruse was unopposed in the Republican primary for District 1, and Bruce Cronk was unopposed in the Democratic primary. Kruse defeated Cronk in the general election.[2][3]
