Caleb Trotter was a 2012 Libertarian candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 2nd Congressional District of Louisiana.

Trotter ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House to represent Louisiana's 2nd District. Trotter faced incumbent Cedric Richmond (D), Gary Landrieu (D), Dwayne Bailey (R), and Josue Larose (R) in the November 6 blanket primary.[1] He was defeated by incumbent Cedric Richmond in the general election.
