Candidate for Georgia federal appeals court confirmed

Georgia: The U.S. Senate confirmed Judge Beverly Martin for a seat on the federal appeals court in Atlanta. Martin was nominated by President Obama for the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. She was approved by the Senate 97-0.
