This measure sought to add to the current district property tax by a rate not to exceed $.10 per $100 of assessed property value in order to further pay for operational costs of the district.[2]

The question on the ballot:

Shall the board of directors of the Central Crossing Fire Protection District be authorized to levy an additional tax of not more than ten cents on the one hundred dollars assessed valuation to provide funds for the support of the district?[3]
