Charles Searcy was the District 4 representative on the School Board of Indian River County in Florida. He defeated Randy Heimler in the general election on August 26, 2014. He left office in 2018.

The August 26, 2014 general election in Indian River County featured three seats up for election. Incumbent Karen Disney-Brombach faced a challenge from Shawn R. Frost in the District 1 race. Newcomers Randy Heimler and Charles G. Searcy were running to replace Carol Johnson, who did not file for re-election in District 4. Dale Simchick was running for re-election without opposition in District 2.
