Christine S. Decker
Christine S. Decker was a juvenile court judge on the Third Judicial District in Salt Lake County, Utah.[1] Decker was first appointed to this position in August 2004 by Governor Olene Walker.[2] She was retained in 2014 for a term that would have expired on January 3, 2021, however she retired from the court in February 2015.[3][4]
Education
Decker earned her bachelor's degree in international relations from Georgetown University in 1971. She went on to receive her J.D. from the University of Utah College of Law in 1975.[2]
Career
Decker worked as a deputy county attorney in Salt Lake County from 1977 to 1978. In 1979 she was a bail commissioner for Salt Lake City. She then worked in private practice from 1994 to 1997, and as guardian ad litem for the Third District Juvenile Court from 1997 to 2002. She also worked as an assistant attorney general in the child protection division.[2]

2014
Decker was retained to the Third District with 76.9 percent of the vote on November 4, 2014. [3]
2008
Decker was retained to the district court in November 2008.[5]
