A City of Ashland Sales Tax ballot question was approved on the August 6, 2013, election ballot in Boone County, which is in Missouri.
This measure authorized the city of Ashland to impose a 0.5% sales tax increase in order to fund for transportation purposes.[1]

Shall the city impose a sales tax of one-half of one percent for the purpose of providing funding for transportation purposes for the City of Ashland, Missouri? "For the purpose of this proposed increase in sales tax within the City of Ashland, Missouri, "transportation" is defined as improvements to existing roadway surfaces, including paving, repaving, repairs, patches and other upgrades to driving surfaces within the City Limits."[1][2] |
