City of Belton, Sewage System Bond (November 2009)
The City of Belton, Sewage System Bond question was on the November 3 ballot in Cass County for voters in the city of Belton.
The question asked voters if they wanted to create a bond in the amount of $3,500,000 that would be used to make upgrades and improvements to the city's waste water treatment plant and help pay for maintaining the plant. Payments would be made through taxes already in place for sewer usage.[1]
