City of Lafayette Charter Amendment Measure 26-138 (November 2009)
The City of Lafayette Charter Amendment Measure 26-138 was on the November 3 ballot in Yamhill County for the residents of Lafayette.
This measure sought to amend section 40 of the charter so that it limits the city's ability to collect debt on improvement projects for the city. The amendment would make it so that the city could not exceed $1,000,000 without a vote by the citizens.[1]
