The question on the ballot:
| Question: Shall the District levy $1,080,000 for operations each year for five years beginning 2011-2012? This measure may cause property taxes to increase more than three percent.
Summary: This measure would authorize Clatskanie School District 6J, Columbia and Clatsop Counties, Oregon, to levy a temporary property tax of $1,080,000 each year for five years. The taxes would be used to help retain most current programs and services for students. Without additional revenue, the district would reduce staff and services.[4] |
