Colleen D. Weiland is a district court judge of District 2A in Iowa. She was appointed to this position in July of 2007.[1] She was retained in 2014 for a term that expires on December 31, 2020.[2]

Education
Weiland received both her undergraduate and J.D. degrees from the University of Iowa in 1991 and 1994, respectively. She interned with the Dubuque County Attorney's Office and the Iowa Attorney General.[1]
Career
Weiland began her legal career in 1994 as a lawyer in Mason City. She worked in this capacity until 1998 and was a judicial magistrate from 1997 until her judicial appointment in 2007.[1]
