Specter faced nine challengers: Cheryl Caution-Parker, Chandra Cleveland-Jennings, John Dublin, Hugh J. Harmon, Paul Manville, Amelia McKie, James Mobley, Craig Plank and Robert Taylor. Incumbent William Fleming did not file for re-election.
