Cynthia Danielson
Cynthia Danielson was a district court judge of District 8B of Iowa. She was appointed to this position in 1999.[1] She retired on January 1, 2016.[2]
Education
Danielson received her undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Iowa in 1972 and 1976, respectively.[1]
Career
Danielson worked as a private practice lawyer from 1976 until her judicial appointment in 1999. She also worked as a Henry County Judicial Magistrate from 1981 to 1985, a Henry County Hospitalization Referee from 1985 to 1997, and worked as a City Attorney for Mt. Pleasant, New London and Olds.[1]
2012 election
Danielson was retained in the general election on November 6, winning 76.48 percent of the vote.[3][4]
