Dan Read ran for judge on the Superior Court in the 14th Judicial District in North Carolina in 2010. Though judicial candidates do not run with party affiliation, he was endorsed by the North Carolina Democratic Party.[1]
2010 election
Read was defeated in the general election, receiving only 12.2 percent of the vote.[2]
