David Paul Odekirk is a district court judge for the 1B District Court in Iowa. He was appointed to the court by Governor Terry Branstad on December 17, 2014. Odekirk was retained in the general election on November 8, 2016.

Biography

Odekirk earned both his undergraduate and J.D. from the University of Iowa. Prior to being appointed to the court, he was an attorney in private practice.[1]

Odekirk was licensed to practice law in Iowa on January 21, 1994. As of September 2, 2016, there was no record of disciplinary orders against Odekirk from the Iowa Judicial Branch Office of Professional Regulation.[2]
