Denise M. Porter
Denise M. Porter is a judge of the Utah Fourth Judicial District. She assumed office in 2021. Her term ended in 2024.

Biography
Education
Porter earned her bachelor's degree in psychology and political science at the University of Utah and her law degree at the University of Utah's S.J. Quinney College of Law.[1]
Career
Prior to serving as a judge, Porter worked on the Utah Board of Pardons and Parole for five years. She previously worked as a felony trial attorney at Salt Lake Legal Defender Association for seventeen years. She has also worked as a legal writing teaching assistant at the University of Utah. Porter has served as a board member for Women Lawyers of Utah and as a member of the Utah Supreme Court's Advisory Committee on the Rules of Criminal Procedure.[1][2]
