Dennis Cini was a candidate for the District E seat on the Red Clay Consolidated school board in Delaware. Cini lost to incumbent Michael Piccio in the general election on May 13, 2014. He also ran unsuccessfully for the Delaware House of Representatives District 19 seat as a Republican on November 6, 2012.

Dennis Cini is the owner of R.A.M. Associates and a resident of Wilmington, Delaware. He and his wife, Robin, have nine grandchildren. Cini was honorably discharged from the United States Air Force and is a former member of the Wilmington Police Department. Cini earned his associate degree from Brandywine College.[1]
