Desoto Area School District Referendum (2009)

There was a Desoto Area School District Referendum on the Crawford and Vernon Counties for voters in the De Soto school district area.

The ballot question was a single-question referendum that asked for approval of an $8 million bond to be used for school construction and renovations. The school buildings involved were 4 area schools and included improved sports facilities at the Desoto middle school and high school, new heating plants and a library among other proposals.

The measure was defeated.
