Diane B. Altamirano

Diane B. Altamirano is a judge on the Imperial County Superior Court in California. She was appointed by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger in 2010 to fill a newly created seat.[1][2]
2012 election
Altamirano defeated William D. Quan in the primary election on June 5, winning 51.43 percent of the vote.[3][4]

Altamirano received her undergraduate degree from U.C. Los Angeles and her J.D. from Loyola Law School.[1]
Career
From 1998 to 2009, Altamirano served the Imperial County Superior Court in a number of ways: an access center manager, senior court managing attorney, self-represented litigant facilitator and an independent contractor. Before this, she worked in the private practice of law. From 1978 to 1980, she was a clinical professor at Loyola Law School.[1]
