Donna L. Tarter

Donna L. Tarter is a judge for the Superior Court of Kings County in California. She was appointed by former governor Arnold Schwarzenegger on December 30, 2009 to succeed Louis F. Bissig. Tarter was automatically re-elected in 2012 and her current term will expire in January 2019.[1][2]

Tarter received an associate degree from West Valley Community College and a J.D. from San Joaquin College of Law.[1]

Tarter ran for re-election to the superior court in 2012. As an unopposed incumbent, her name did not appear on the ballot. After the primary election, Tarter was automatically re-elected.[3]
