Doug Hoffman is a judge in the Second Judicial Circuit in South Dakota.[1] Hoffman was appointed to the bench by Governor Mike Rounds in August 2007, after the South Dakota Legislature funded a ninth seat on the court.[2] Hoffman was re-elected in 2014 for a term that expires in 2022.[3]

Hoffman received his bachelor's degree from the University of Iowa and his J.D. from the University of South Dakota.[4]
