Elizabeth Hamner

Elizabeth Hamner is a judge on the Circuit court in Alabama. She was appointed by Governor Robert Bentley in March 2011. Her current term expires in 2018.[1]
Education
Hamner received her undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama and in 1996, her J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law.[1]
Career
Hamner began her legal career as a law clerk for Perry O. Hooper, Sr. a former Chief Justice of the Alabama Supreme Court. From 1997 to 2001, Hamner worked in private practice with the firm Hubbard, Smith, McIlwain, Brakefield & Browder. After that, she served as a deputy district attorney until her appointment to the Circuit 6 Court.[1]
