Filing deadline report: Utah Attorney General special election

Salt Lake City, Utah: One state executive position is up for election in 2014 in the state of Utah: attorney general.
This is a special election, scheduled for November 4, 2014, the same day as the regular Utah midterm elections.
The incumbent, Republican Sean Reyes, was appointed to the office of Utah Attorney General by Gov. Gary R. Herbert in December 2013. Reyes is seeking election to finish the current term. The next regular election for Utah Attorney General is in November 2016.[1]
Yesterday, March 20, the filing period for special election candidates came to a close. The following list of candidates is current as of March 21, 2014.
A total of five candidates filed for the special election. No two are from the same party, so there will be no contested conventions or primaries.
