Florida 20th Judicial Circuit Court accepting applications for vacancy

Florida: The Twentieth Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission is accepting applications for the vacancy left on the Lee County Court. This vacancy was left by John Duryea when he was appointed to he Florida 20th Circuit Court in May 2011. Requirements for the position are that the applicant be a member of the Florida Bar for 5 years prior, a registered voter, and a resident of the jurisdiction at the time of appointment. The court will be accepting applications until June 30, 2011 for a six-year term.[1][2]
