Florida judge to reduce ruling against cigarette company

Florida: A jury in Florida had awarded $300 million in damages to a woman suffering from emphysema, but now Jeffrey E. Streitfeld, the judge presiding over the case, has said that he would reduce the amount. Streitfeld has not released how much he plans to reduce the sentence by.[1]
