Four candidates apply to replace Camerer
June 15, 2010
Chadron, Nebraska: Four attorneys have applied for the County Court judgeship vacated by retired Judge G. Glenn Camerer. Vance Haug is a Dawes County Attorney, Kris Mickey and Stacey Nossaman-Petit are attorneys in Scottsbluff, and Andrew Snyder practices in Mitchell. All candidates but Snyder have applied for judgeships in the past. After interviews with the candidates, the Nebraska Judicial Nominating Commission will likely narrow it down to two candidates. The Governor will appoint one of these as the new judge, who will serve in Scotts Bluff County as well as in other courts throughout the 12th Judicial District as needed.[1]
