Franklin County gets new probate court judge

Ohio: Alan Acker was appointed to a vacant seat on the Franklin County Probate Court by Gov. Strickland on May 14, 2010. The former lawyer will take office on June 7th and will serve until the fall of 2010, when he must run in the general election if he wants to serve a full term. He replaces Judge Eric Brown, who moved to the Ohio Supreme Court.[1]
