Governor nominates three New York judges

New York: Governor Paterson nominated three judges to fill vacancies on New York courts. Lawrence H. Ecker will replace Judge Joseph Alessandro on the 9th Judicial District of the Supreme Court. Bernard J. Fried was nominated to replace Judge Joseph Spinola on the 10th Judicial District of the Supreme Court, and Barry E. Warhit replaced Judge Jeffrey Cohen on the Westchester County Court. If confirmed by the Senate, the nominees will serve until the end of 2010.[1]
