A Grain Valley R-V School District Facility Construction Bond question was approved on the February 5, 2013 election ballot in Jackson County, which is in Missouri.
This question authorized the Grain Valley R-V School District to increase its debt by $4.6 million in order to fund the construction, equipping and furnishing of school facilities in the District. | “ | Shall the Board of Education of the Grain Valley R-V School District of Jackson County, Missouri, without an estimated increase in the current debt service property tax levy, borrow money in the amount of Four Million Six Hundred Thousand Dollars ($4,600,000) for the purpose of providing funds for the construction,
equipping, and furnishing school facilities at the Grain Valley High School; to the extent of funds available, complete other improvements to the existing facilities of the District; and issue bonds for the payment thereof? If this proposition is approved, the adjusted debt service levy of the School District is estimated to remain unchanged at $1.5933 per one hundred dollars of assessed valuation of real and personal property.
