A Grain Valley R-V School District Facility Construction Bond question was approved on the February 5, 2013 election ballot in Jackson County, which is in Missouri.
This question authorized the Grain Valley R-V School District to increase its debt by $4.6 million in order to fund the construction, equipping and furnishing of school facilities in the District. The adjusted debt service levy for the district is estimated to remain unchanged if this bond money is approved.[1]

Language on the ballot:
| “ | Shall the Board of Education of the Grain Valley R-V School District of Jackson County, Missouri, without an estimated increase in the current debt service property tax levy, borrow money in the amount of Four Million Six Hundred Thousand Dollars ($4,600,000) for the purpose of providing funds for the construction,
equipping, and furnishing school facilities at the Grain Valley High School; to the extent of funds available, complete other improvements to the existing facilities of the District; and issue bonds for the payment thereof? If this proposition is approved, the adjusted debt service levy of the School District is estimated to remain unchanged at $1.5933 per one hundred dollars of assessed valuation of real and personal property.
