A Greenbush Township Dust Control Property Tax Levy ballot question was defeated on the August 6, 2013, election ballot in Clinton County, which is in Missouri.
If approved, this measure would have authorized the Greenbush Township to impose a property tax levy of 0.5 mill ($0.5 per $1,000 of assessed valuation) for three hours in order to fund the dust control services of the township.[1]

Shall the limitation on the amount of taxes which may be assessed against the taxable and personal property in Greenbush Township, Clinton County, Michigan be increased and the Township Board be authorized to levy a half (0.5) mill (fifty cents ($.50) per every one thousand ($1,000.00) of taxable valuation) for a period of 3 years, 2013 through 2015 inclusive, to provide funds for Dust Control; the estimate, if the millage is approved and levied in 2013, is approximately $36,397.00 per year.[1][2] |
