Hannibal City Board of Public Works Amendments, 2 (April 2012)
Two Hannibal City Board of Public Works Amendment measures were on the April 3, 2012 ballot in the city of Hannibal which is in both Marion and Ralls Counties.
Both measures were approved
The first amendment sought to allow the Board to meet at other locations besides City Hall.
The second amendment sought to allow members to be considered present if they are there via electronic methods.[1]
- YES 1,815
- NO 1,042[2]
The city council offered its support behind the electronic attendance measure, noting that the Board only consists of four members so allowing for them to appear at a meeting while being sick would be beneficial to the Board. A unanimous vote was given to both measures to place them on the ballot by the city council.[3]
