Hearing date set on proposed changes to the North Dakota Code of Judicial Conduct

Bismarck, North Dakota: Following a review of the ABA Model Code of Judicial Conduct, the Judiciary Standards Committee drafted a series of amendments and submitted them as recommended changes to the North Dakota Code of Judicial Conduct. Comments on the amendments were taken up until April 4, and now a hearing has been ordered on the proposed changes. The hearing is scheduled for Monday, June 6, 2011, Ralph J. Erickstad Courtroom of the state Supreme Court in Bismarck. The amendments and a summary may be found here.[1]
