A Hood River Library District Formation measure was on the May 18, 2010 ballot in Hood River County.

This measure was defeated

  • YES 2,944 (46.14%)
  • NO 3,437 (53.86%) Defeatedd[1]

This measure sought to create a public library district within the county in order to be able to support services offered. District creation would have also implemented a tax of $.70 per $1,000 of assessed value. A five member board would have also been created to govern the district.[2]
