Howard Taylor
Howard Taylor ran for judge on the Nassau County District Court in 2012.
2012 election
Taylor was one of six candidates competing for three positions on November 6, 2012. He ran on the Republican, Conservative, Independence and Tax Revolt tickets. Taylor was defeated in the general election, receiving 14.45 percent of the vote.[1][2]

Education
Taylor received his undergraduate degree from Hofstra University and his J.D. from its School of Law.[4]
Career
At the time of his candidacy, Taylor was the Legal Counsel and Deputy Receiver of Taxes for the Town of Hempstead. He has also served as Assessment Deputy Director and County Attorney for Nassau County, Counsel to the Nassau County Executive, and Deputy Nassau County Attorney.[4]
