The Public Employee Accountability Act was proposed as an initiative for the November 4, 2008 ballot in Idaho, but the measure did not qualify for the ballot.

The act would have allowed Idaho citizens to file suit against judges, prosecutors and others regarding criminality or malfeasance in performance of their judicial duties.

The proponent, David M. Estes, was a former Jail4Judges proponent, an organization known for proposing court accountability acts across the country.

  • The "Justice at Stake" Campaign posted several articles criticizing David Estes and Jail4Judges.[1]
