The Idaho Replacements for Executive Office Vacancies Amendment, also known as House Joint Resolution 4, was on the November 5, 1968 ballot in Idaho as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved. The measure gives the governor the duty to fill state officer vacancies by appointment.[1][2]
